Women's Ski Clinics
Ladies, progress your skills Beyond the Blue! Enjoy a day improving your skiing, making new friends, and having lots of fun along the way. These two special days are brought to you by Bill & Paul’s, Caberfae Peaks, and Volkl Skis.
For those familiar with our popular YOUR TURN events of the past, these programs will have a familiar feel. Our lead instructor, Christine VanTongeren (read her bio below), will work with you in small groups, teaching drills and techniques designed to grow your confidence and skills on the slopes. Video analysis and continued instruction from additional instructors will reinforce your development throughout the day.
We offer two different programs catering to your experience and needs.
Beyond the Blue Classic
Thursday,February 19th, 2026
$159 pp**
A program designed for intermediate to advanced female skiers. We recommend this course for those new to our women's program. Participation is limited to 18 skiers.
Includes breakfast, lift ticket, access to Volkl demo skis, personal instruction with video analysis, lunch, and apres ski party with raffle prizes.
**Cancellation Policy. Cancellations must be made 10 days before your event to qualify for a full refund.
Beyond the Blue Advanced
Friday, February 20th, 2026
$199 pp**
If you’re an advanced-level female skier looking to push your skills even further, this is the day for you. Challenge yourself on steeper, more technical terrain, ski at a faster pace, and expand your comfort zone with top-level instruction. Participation is limited to 12 skiers.
Includes breakfast, lift ticket, access to Volkl demo skis, personal instruction with video analysis, lunch, and apres ski party with raffle prizes.

Christine VanTongeren – Ski Bio- Level 3 Professional Ski Instructor Association (PSIA)
Alpine Instructor. 20 Years Examiner on the PSIA-Central Division Education Staff. Level 1 – AASI -Snowboard Certification. Level 1- PSIA Telemark Certification. Level 1 – PSIA Nordic Certification. US Ski and Snowboard Member. Former MHSAA-High School Ski Coach.
With over 40 years of experience in ski coaching and ski instruction, Chris is a leader in the alpine skiing community. A certified Level III instructor and past PSIA examiner (now emeritus), she has coached athletes from grassroots race development programs to High School ski racing levels, including Michigan HS State champions. During her career, she served as the Head Coach for Forest Hills Northern HS ski team, as well as the assistant director and trainer at Cannonsburg and Shanty Creek Snowsports Schools, where she developed training materials and programs for aspiring instructors. Chris was a former Nastar race coordinator at Shanty Creek as well as a pacesetter. She has organised and coached at women’s ski retreats, as well as attended the PSIA National Academy. Her commitment to professionalism and mentorship has left a lasting impact on hundreds of students and instructors. Today, she continues to coach and participate in ski education initiatives while enjoying time on the slopes with her grandchildren.
