🌿 1. Visit gardens + spring exhibits

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

• One of the top attractions in Michigan
• Huge indoor tropical conservatory + outdoor sculpture park
• Spring highlight: Butterflies Are Blooming exhibit 🦋 (March–April)

👉 This is easily the #1 spring break activity—especially if the weather’s hit or miss.

🏛️ 2. Explore museums downtown

Grand Rapids Public Museum

• Interactive exhibits + planetarium
• Cool for all ages (yes, even teens)
• Right on the riverfront

• Modern + classic art collections
• Chill, aesthetic stop if you like photography/art vibes

• Animals, zipline, ropes course, and seasonal events

• Lake Michigan beaches (about 40–50 min away)
• Holland, MI (cute town + windmill + tulips soon)
• Saugatuck (artsy + coastal feel)
