Icon RS 12 (26/27)

Salomon's Icon RS 12 binding is ideal for junior racers on their journey to the top. This high-end racing binding utilizes a V-shaped toe piece to centralize power transmission, delivering up to 30% more power underfoot. It also releases up to 15% of pressure from the ski's tip and tail, enabling young skiers to handle challenging turns with ease.

Binding Technologies

• Centralized Power Transfer: By strategically placing screws under the boot, this mounting pattern maximizes racer’s underfoot power and enhances the tip and tail’s reactiveness and rebound.
• Low profile Chassis: Low stand height for increased terrain feedback and enhanced power transmission.

Main Material

• Glass-Fiber PA: A dedicated polyamide reinforced with fiber-glass which makes bindings lighter, durable, and with more tolerance on skis.
• Steel: Super rigid, non-deforming material that meets racers’ expectations in terms of power and precision.

Pedal

• Full-flat Race Pedal: A completely flat pedal that grants absolute precision and terrain feedback, especially when combined with Alpine racing boots.
• Wide Toe Pedal (50>60mm): Guaranteed power transmission thanks to a wide pedal that allows a great contact zone with the boot.
